Marketing and Communications Coordinator | Full or Part-Time
Job Description:
We’re looking for a dynamic and ambitious Marketing and Communications Coordinator to manage and boost the company’s brand and cultivate relations with clients, industry, and community. The ideal candidate holds exemplary written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills, and is social media savvy, creative, technologically intuitive, resourceful, and organized. This new role requires versatility and initiative and is likely to evolve with the individual to reflect the individual’s strengths and interests, along with the growth of the company. The position provides a unique opportunity to combine a personal enthusiasm for modern interior design and architecture with a professional passion for effective communications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create content and manage digital and publishing platforms and related analytics
- Write compelling copy and brand deliverables
- Generate, track, and report new media opportunities
- Market research, initiatives and outreach
- Plan and execute portfolio photoshoots and special events
- Client appreciation initiatives
- Qualify, prioritize and manage diverse workload
- Develop extensive knowledge and understanding of the company and industry, both regionally and globally, in order to compellingly present its brand and cultivate relations
Necessary Skills and Requirements:
- 2-3 years professional or educational experience in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or other related field
- Exemplary communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and editing skills
- Keenness for visual arts and modern design
- Strategic and creative thinker
- Proficiency with WordPress and HTML
- Proficiency with SEO and Google analytics
- Proficiency with Photoshop, retouching and formatting, and graphic design layout
- Ability to learn new technology and stay current with latest marketing trends
- Ability to work independently and as a team-player
- Must be dependable, have good judgement and a highly developed sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with the local market a plus
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends and travel
